PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

ARB STUDIOS, Orlando, Florida March 2009 – present  

Business Manager: Created a successful launch and product strategy for a startup team of veteran developers focusing on mass-market iPhone and online games putting the company in the black less than a year from launch. Developed marketing and PR materials, presented pitches at industry trade shows, identified and explored collaborative opportunities from substantial rolodex, responded to RFPs and negotiated development agreements. Designed and produced two of four high-end titles for iPhone already delivered or in development. Currently pursuing cutting-edge in-game advertising, product / brand placement and contest promotions.

WORLD AT PLAY, Phoenix, Arizona 2008 – present  

Consultancy: Specializing in improving corporate and product strategy by bringing an external, third-party review of focus, plan of action, and objectives. Specifically: evaluation of business operations and identification of inefficiencies or misalignments between corporate goals and operations; Discovery, initiation and development of strategic alliances in current and new markets; Management of new product development from concept through launch; In-depth research of clients' products and services vis-à-vis corporate objectives to align project execution strategies with corporate goals.

  • Under contract with THQ to identify/develop new content; generate RFPs, down-select potential developers and negotiate agreements.
  • Created North American strategic marketing plan, PR campaign and launch strategy for global massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) for European-based client.
  • Championed and developed a college-level Game Apprentice Program to revitalize the college's degree program through focused curriculum and a stronger collaboration with the interactive entertainment industry.
ATARI, INC., New York, New York 2006 – 2008  

Director of Business Development: Director, Business Development: Spearheaded research and trend analysis to identify and evaluate new products with potential to deliver strong ROI. Mitigated investment risk by thorough break-even analyses and realistic profit projections. Developed, socialized and sold comprehensive product plans to internal leadership and business partners. Crafted RFPs designed to elicit responses from teams that would highlight their strengths and weaknesses to ensure a thorough vetting of submissions and development teams for quality, costs and production values consistent with project plans. Acquired Dragonball Z series for the company, securing a long-term cross-platform agreement with aggregate revenues exceeding $600M to date. Authored and developed significant properties for Atari, including Dirt Track Racing, Carnivores, and Beachhead, all of which became a series of highly profitable company owned franchises. Developed a track record for finding or creating lucrative products and projects, and successfully bringing them to market.
